We (The Sugar Duchess & A’dora Derriere) are thrilled to welcome you to the brand new website, and announce that The Apprentease Burlesque Excellence Awards are officially coast to coast across our sunburnt country.

The journey…

We say journey, but we mean glitter filled, ride or die, fabulous tease explosion that is THE APPRENTEASE.

Launched in Perth, Western Australia – The Apprentease is now established across our Land of Oz to support the Art of Tease in your home city.

The Tease Explosion

The Apprentease was a concept Duchess & A’dora came up with as Australia’s platform of burlesque performance, competition, and corporate events was reaching a new level.

We found there was a gap in the burlesque industry to support, educate and network.

There needed to be a stepping stone added to assist performers presenting themselves in the industry, and before cutting their teeth at competitions like Miss Burlesque or the Burlesque Hall of Fame!

The Apprentease first and foremost is an education platform and provides industry support… but ya know, we get our kicks from seeing the celebration and performance of our contestants too!
